Major Offensive Cyber Attack has been launched on Islamic State Group by UK
Britain has launched a Cyber Attack on an Islamic State’s Communications to stop a Terrorist Group from spreading false propaganda on the internet. The Director of GCHQ said that “The outcomes of these operations are wide-ranging,”. at Cyber UK conference in Manchester.The Cyber operation has disrupted group’s activities and even it has destroyed equipment and networks.

Fleming also said that the fight against the IS is not over yet because the group has tried to carry out the attacks in the UK even after this attack and also the group continued to set up an ungoverned base of operations and have taken the help of Russians to spread the NotPetya Ransomware. When GCHQ has accused Russia of NotPetya Ransomware attack claiming that Russian Military was behind the attack but Moscow denied of any involvement.
